8/19 to 8/25

Not much happened this week besides the normal giving piano lesson, reading, working on genealogy.   I talked with Jerry with Skype on Tuesday night.  It was very beneficial because I taught him how to use Roots Magic and he actually submitted a name and there are more to come.

We are starting to get move fruit and vegetables. This is what Willard picked last Wednesday.  I hope to have a lot more next year when I get the soil fed right.

Friday I went to see Dr. Hodgon and she told me I was cancer free and she had me blood test to see why my blood clots in hope that it might prevent others if there is a factor involved.

That evening, I took Suzie to Nancy's harp recital.  It was really nice.  The selection of pieces were very programmatic and fun to listen to.  Some of them showed how to get different sounds from the harp.  Then at the last they play 6 numbers as a harp with all the harp's participating.  It was quite wonderful.

Saturday, after we practiced for the September 4th performance, and going shopping, I made a scripture bag for my neighbor.  It only cost $2.  I made it out of 2 fat quarters and made up the pattern.  It didn't turn out to badly, I thought.

Later on tonight Zane, Bryce and Linda are coming.  Linda is taking to the MTC and leaving Bryce with us so he can visit his cousins.  Linda discovered on Friday that Zane didn't get the VISA information and quickly called the Travel department.  They email the forms and Linda next day aired it to them.  We all are praying that the papers get there and have time to processed before Wednesday.  These are great pictures of the family that were on Facebook.
