Selia, who comes to Curves, gave me some Lavender plants and a Butterfly Bush. I gave her some Blackberry and Raspberry starts which I was so glad to find some one who could use them. I planted the color spot in front. It looked so bare after we cut down the Tulips, and I decided not to wait for Memorial Day. I am excited that some of the seeds that I sowed are starting to come up. It is always exciting to see what will come up.
Also, my new rose named Fragrant Plum, blossomed this week. The flower is so beautiful and smells heavenly. I am so thankful that Sheran recommended it to me.

Saturday was spent again with Hailey. She had her Spring Dance recital. It is always fun to see her dance and the rest of the girls that are dancing. I really like the studio she goes to. It is really professional.

I am so thankful for the Lords tender mercies. Willard is healing very slowly and it is very hard for him to set on the lawn mower and we were worried how we would get the lawn mowed. But then Betty called up and said that she was going to pay Hunter and Gavin to come over and help us since he can't find a job. So he came over and helped Willard when I was gone. Also, I am so thankful that Holly sent me the scented rice bags for Mothers day. For some reason my left knee really is hurting me due to arthritis and the low pressure system. It was really hurting Saturday, and a thought came to me that when I got home, to heat them up and put them on my knee. It felt so good. As I am writing I have them belted on my knee. They really do soothe the pain. I so thankful for her thoughtfulness.
Deborah came home from her trip to London and Paris. She had a great time and gave me some very expensive real perfume for Mother's Day. It smells so good. Now I know why people spend good money to smell good. I am thankful for her thoughtfulness. I will always think of her, when I smell delicious.
I am currently working on a Christmas arrangement for Nancy and I. It will be a medley of three Christmas songs, "It Came Upon a midnight Clear"," Away In a Manger" and "The First Noel" tied together with the "Silent Night " theme. I have the first arranged now on to finish it. I am so grateful for Nancy, and that she always spurs me on. I feel very blessed. My hair is coming in with some curl to it and I now can even use a very small curling iron. Life is good
