This was a great week for good things happening. On Monday I got my tube out. It was so ready to come out that it literally fell out when Bonnie who is Dr. Cushman's nurse pulled it. It was so nice not to be carrying around the tube.

Friday I got mapped for my Radiation treatments which will last 6 weeks. I start on Wednesday at 8:45 am. I feel very blessed to get an early time. Then after that I went over to Brownsfield and got my boobs.

THINGS THAT I ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK.
I worked most of the week just perfecting " I Wonder When He Comes Again". I would think I have it finished and then the next day I would find some mistakes. It is indeed line upon on line for me.
After practicing with Nancy, Wednesday night, I felt that her part was lacking in depth so on Thursday and Friday I worked on adding notes to her harp part to make her part more interesting.
Also, on Thursday I went to Curves, ( which is 3 min. away) to find out about their program because to join is free for me under my insurance. I really liked their program.

ACTIVES THAT WERE FULFILLING
I went over to my neighbor, Emily, on Monday, who is going to be have brain stem surgery on February 25. She will need to be flat on her back for 4 months. She will be having family come in the first month but after that she is on her own. I asked her what she needed and then let the Relief Society know. Her daughter Julie is getting baptized in 2 weeks.
On Tuesday I made bread to take to Relief Society because we were to pair up and go to a few ladies that don't come out much and bring them a treat. We were to bring 2 of something and bread is the fastest for me. That evening Nancy and I took a loaf of bread to Emily and some other treats that were brought to Sister Rowe and Eva Harvey who are fighting the effects of an aged body. It was so nice to get to visit with each one. I had asked Emily to come and she was going to but her blood pressure spiked and so we brought it to her. She really did appreciate it.
After I got home from the Something Special Luncheon,on Wednesday, I made up some Sugar Cookies and frosting to take to some of my friends at Meadow Lake after I meet with the Curves people on Valentines Day. At the luncheon, June Benson was so excited that I was there. I was her Visiting Teacher before we left. I so enjoyed her. So when I took the cookies around I spent a lot of time catching up with her. She is such a delightful person.
Thursday afternoon Hailey came over and we finished making up the rest of the dough to give away. She learned how to frost a cookie.

She got to meat them and have the joy for giving them away. We also gave some cookies to Emily's family. Hailey made up 3 plates for her family and neighbors. She learned the joy of service and giving.

ACTIVITIES THAT MAKE LIKE FUN
Tuesday I went to book club and Rosalee Hunters. We discussed the book " Baptized at the Barbeque" It is a fun book to read. I really liked the book "Bitten" which is written my the same author. It is hilarious! I lent it out to someone but I can't remember who.

Willard and I went to Golden Corral for Valentines Day. I really have to watch what I eat anymore so I don't get heartburn. I had large salad and a small piece of steak. That didn't sit well. One thing about getting heartburn, one doesn't want to cheat on your diet because the side effects are so unpleasant.
Friday night Nancy and I went to the Institute Choir Concert. It was very uplifting and fun. It was delightful to watch all the young adults full of energy and having so much fun on the stage. Then last night Nancy and I went to the Nampa Civic Center to see "Thoroughly Modern Millie" It is an older show and was staged in the old fashion curtain closing and using the front of the stage. It was slow in the first act, I almost went to sleep but in the second act, the actors started to really pick up because the actors started to act very melodramatic which really woke up the audience and made it more fun to watch. We are looking forward to seeing the ballet "Swan Lake" on the 28th there.
