10/1 to10/7

Black slippers
This week wasn't very exciting or full.  On Monday I did make a new pair of black booties. On Tuesday I did make some bread and cinnamon rolls.  However, the bread didn't turn out that well so I didn't take any but did take the cinnamon rolls.  We had a good time at the auctions,  I successfully bid on the dinner and FHE with the Griffen's.  Diane was able to get the temple envelope which she was thrilled with.  There were many grandmothers that enjoyed the baby items.

On Wednesday I got my second treatment of chemo.  I tolerated it fairly well with no side effects which I was grateful for. I found a great web sight where I can get a 100 page book for $60 so I have been working on a book all week to print out a book about our missions.  Thursday wasn't bad and I felt good enough to go with Diane to "Boggle for Boobs" and charity put on by St. Al's. There were over 200 ladies there.  We sat in pod of four and switched every time we won or lost.  It was very fun.  I even got a watch for being a survivor.  I plan on going next year. I met some wonderful ladies.
You can see the things that were raffled off.
These were people in my pod. We had one of the 2 males that were there.

Saturday and Sunday I enjoyed conference what I heard.  I kept falling to sleep but the messages were wonderful.  It is so exciting about offering the opportunities to the 18 year males and 19 year old women.  I have seen really awesome young men come out that were really ready for their mission.
