10/8 to 10/14

The Cover for our Book.
Most of this week I worked on our Mission Book.  I was happy to find out that they extended the time period.  It ended up being 94 pages long and costing $54.  I thought I got a really good deal.  It would have been $154 if they hadn't been running the special.  I submitted it on Wednesday and it has been sent already.
Katy G, Elanor,  Elzada, Shirley

Eva, Starla and Diane Our senior Sisters.

Wednesday I went to the Something Special Luncheon with Diane and had great time visiting. Diane was fighting a Kidney Infection and ended up in the hospital on Thursday she was in the hospital in isolation because she not only has a kidney infection but and illness that is very highly contagious which was caused by her constantly being on anti-biotic.  She is a trouper.  It was really nice to have Eva there too because she has not been well due to a lot of back pain. Kathy was diagnosed with uterine cancer and is going have a surgery to take out the cancer and then go through radiation.  So it was really nice to get together and strengthen each other.

Garren looking cool and enjoying himself.
Thursday, we went to the Garren and Hunter run in the city meet.  Garren is definitely improving.  I love his attitude.  He enjoys the comradeship and runs his best.
Go Hunter

Hunter did well.  I love to watch him run because he has such a nice smooth form.
The Happy Runners
On Saturday, we went t the chapel to practice, then on to Cody's football game.  I guess we brought him good luck because he made his first touch down by catching a pass and their team won for the first time.  it was and exciting game.
The winning team and score.

On Sunday, I finally performer "I Believe in Christ."  I guess it went OK.  It wasn't perfect but people enjoyed it. Some might wonder why I would put myself under such unnecessary  pressure. I just felt a desire to share this arrangement of the song because I love the message and music of the hymn and I hopefully could share my testimony of Christ.
