| My own pattern in Navajo Weaving |
I decided to take back three of my piano students the Bells and Savannah Willets. They will practice and are a very low stress students and they do need my expertise. So I started them this week. It was fun to get into teaching and I loved the music they are going to be learning. So therapeutic to my soul.
Then on Thursday I went to see the Oncologist, Dr Hodson, who told me that my cancer was a Stage 2A run of the mill cancer. I will be starting Chemo this Wednesday then every three weeks for 4 times. It is the TCx4Variety of Chemo. The side effects is hari loss with in 2 weeks with little nausea and tiredness. She was happy to hear that I was teaching piano because of the side effects of loss of feeling in the fingertips and she wants to know if that happens. After 3 month, I will have surgery followed by radiation and then by harmonal replacement for 5 years. My cancer is 100% estrogen sensitive and 50% progesterone sensitive. That means that those hormones will protect the body from getting more cancers. So all in all it was a good report.
Friday I went in and had a Sentinel Node Lymphoscintigraphy and then my port put it for the Chemo. When we got home we had a message that Medicare had accepted me and everything will be covered since August 1. This was indeed a miracle, if Willard hadn't talked to that girl last Wednesday, we never would have gotten the approval in time.
I am just laying low, so my surgeries can heal and I won't have pain. I have only had to take on pill for pain and all else is good. The Lord is certainly blessing me.
