I am so thankful for the Lords blessing. I had a great week this week. I started to have my old energy back. On Monday, I taught Maddy and Jackson. They are so fun to teach. They both really practice hard. I really do give them more than any other students but they still come prepared. However I certainly know when Jackson isn't enjoying a piece of music. Savanna comes on Tuesday and since she plans on studying abroad, I am really trying to develop her accompanying and conducting skills so she can be of service in the church. I love her pieces that she is playing. It is so nice to teach children that practice. That evening Julia, a teenager from across the street came over to visit me. She wants to join the church but her parents won't let her but she want me to help her with her personal progress. She is a very sweet girl and really committed. She wants to come over an help me for one of her projects. I am excited about helping her. She even asked if she could have family home evening with us.

Wednesday went to see Dr. Hodson's nurse and she helped me to see the value of the salt water and baking soda rinse. It really does help with the medal taste in my mouth. That is really the only side effect so far. That night Terry Griffen and Starla Jeppson came to visit me. It was so nice to visit with them. They reminded me of the service auction on Oct 2. So I decided I was going to try to make a Temple envelop, 3 pairs of booties, a scarf, 4 loaves of bread, a pan of Cinnamon rolls and a jar of jam. Well that is my goal. I am almost done with the envelop and a pair of booties. This keeps me happy and busy working toward a goal. Also, I am practicing on a piano solo to play at church.

Thursday night I went with Rosemary Hill out to dinner and then to see Le Miserables. It was so good the cast was wonderful. There was not one voice that was weak. They shortened the show about 1/2 an hour and the staging was different. It was very dark but really great with all the special effect. I really enjoyed the evening.

| Kids having fun |
Friday the stake Relief Society President Dawn Cranner and Nancy Cotter came over and visited me in the morning. They are such sweet women and I really enjoyed my visit with them. Ben and family came down for the night. It was so fun to see the girls. They are such sweethearts. Then Deborah and the kids came over to visit and then we meet Betty, Andy and Garren at Goodwoods for dinner. It was so fun to be together. It really made my day.
Saturday, Betty came over and went through diabetes stuff and taught me how to use the meter. She was so helpful in getting us both to be more aware of our diet. I really appreciate her taking the time for us. She helped me to see that I really need to change my ways. Then I fixed some Twice Baked Potato Soup and we went to the ward's Harvest Dinner which was fun to visit with all our friends.

| Julia my ward Daughter |
Sunday I spent most of my time helping Julia with her personal progress. She wants to earn her medallion and she had 18 months to do it in. So we mapped out what she needs to do. I even took her to choir. Then after dinner she came back and we had her very first Family Home Evening. Willard taught the lesson on Patriarchal Blessing and what they were. That was one of the things that she needed to learn about for her Young Women's award.
So all in all is was a great week. I am so thankful for the Lord and His tender mercies.
