Betty and kids with Berries
Monday we just tried to unpack things. I don't know where I put half my things but if I have lived without it for 6 months there really isn't any hurry. So it will be a process of discovery. Betty and family came over and they enjoyed all the berries we had picked. There were so many I got about 2 gallons of all different kinds of berries.
Tuesday I went in an had my mammogram, ultra sound and then a biopsy at the Breast Cancer Center. They were very nice and treated me with such kindness. It was nice to know that there would be a nurse that would be following my case and take care of me. It was nice to get it all over at one time. It was sort of strange watching them go into my breast and grab a sample. I have 3 growths but they only took samples of 2 of them of which I was glad because it hurt. They said it would take about 24 hr. to get the some of the test back.
I worked on getting my wall arranged. I missed Kayenta and wanted to have my things up that reminded me of my dear friends. I love to sit and look at it and it brings me much warmth and love.

The Before picture
Wednesday we got up and worked on the back yard. We were told that the young men were
coming over that evening and help clean up the yard so we worked on getting the berry
plant pruned. We were worn out by the aftenoon. I got a call about 2pm telling me that samples came back positive for cancer and could I get down to clinic to see a Doctor by 2:30. We saw a Dr.Brooks who would be the one that I will see when I do radiation. t he was just there to see me to get me into the system. He told me that I would have to have a mastectomy because there was to much cancer in the breast to save. They then set me up with a surgeon Dr. Cushman for next Tuesday.

Glena helping out
The young men did come over with their leaders. There were probably about 20 there. They really worked hard and I certainly appreciate their kindness. Even my next door neighbor Glena came over to help.
They carried off a great big trailer full of weeds and sticker berry vines. That was the best thing of all just to get rid of the junk. We do have a wonderful ward. We are so grateful for good neighbors and ward members. There is still a lot of work to do but at least we can see the ground.
Thursday we just unpacked. Both Willard and I were exhausted.

The Grand kids plus one
Friday night we has a get together at the pack. Ben rode his Harley down from Kaysville and Tobin and family came in from Auburn. It was awesome to have so many for the children and grand kids there. They just played and there was no family drama. Except everyone thought Trenton might have a blood clot because his calf was swollen so badly. It was great to have that many together. It sure does help one to have a positive attitude about one's health when you know you have a loving family behind you.

Playing Golf
Saturday Tobin's family came over with Davis and Joe to visit. I taught them how to play Golf, the card game that the Howard's taught us. Then Bryce shared his piano talents and smaller boys just enjoyed being together.

We had a nice visit with the Stake President and then went to our meeting for the Captains for 50 in Nampa. There are 31 stakes involved and maybe 4 sets of 50 per stakes. Willard will be in charge of finding 50 volunteers to be tour guides, and ect. It is exciting to be on the ground floor and helping in the open house of the Boise Temple. I know he will do a wonderful job. I don't think I will be recovered enough to help. What and exciting time to be here.
