16th week 6/3 to 6/10

John and Davis Gibson
This was just a regular week.  Monday spent time at the library. Tuesday the Gibson family came up to find names to take to the temple because John their youngest just turned 12.  There is a youth baptism trip coming up in a few weeks and they to have some names.  Luckily Gwen came along with them because as soon as they found out that it was going to take time to find some names they quickly lost interest.  However, both boys are autistic but do very well. I really admire them for how they have taught their boys so well with their disabilities.  Also, that day HT came to do service work.  For some reason he had to do 10 hr of community service so he came up to do Indexing because he had hurt his leg.   He was a nice young man who did take the time of do things right. and he did 120 names.

Willard and Elder Howard working in the garden
Another view of the garden
My strawberries.  I am hoping that the berries get bigger and the plant grow.
We took some pictures of the garden for the gardening seminar.  The gardens are doing well and so are my berries.  They would do a lot better if the wind didn't blow.  Ben called us and asked us to pray for him because he was going for his interview for the vise principle ship at Clearfield High School

Thursday was the big day for Ben.  We prayed for him asking that the Lord would help him in his interview.  He came through again for Ben because Ben said that he said things that even he was surprised at. He was the last one interviewed and he got the job!  We are so proud of him and so thankful for the Lords help.  That afternoon,   the bishop came to us and asked us to go around and give out little flyers about the Father's day Dinner the ward was going to have.  Now this advent hadn't been announced very much and no one knew about it. So Willard and I spent the a couple of hours going to members home and leaving flyers about the party. We gave out some to people that we knew that would never hear about it.  We left one at Theresa Singers house and she came.  Usually she never comes,  Then we gave one to Kee Navajo (the manure neighbor) and he came and had a good time because he had worked with brother Black.  Also, Irene came and also Rhoda.  So there were a lot of people that showed up but not to many brought food.  But every one thought it was successful.

Friday we took Becky McCarty with us because we both needed to go to the Doctor.  We dropped her off and then went over to get my blood checked and the office was closed.  So it looks like I will have to go another time.  But that day was not a good day for me because I had the stomach flu. When we got back Elder Howard came over and told us that Sister Howard tripped and fell and broke her wrist, so they left to go back to Spanish Fork, for her Dr to set it.

Saturday we got up and went out to Chichimbito to get our rugs.  One rug wasn't done because she lost her needle and couldn't finish it.  So I lent her one of my needle because I took by weaving with me to do in the car. I hope to get it this week.  We stopped off at the post office  to get the mail and I was excited to see that the LANDesk envelope had come.  But I was shocked when I opened it up and found that the same disk that was Win XP pro was sent but it was suppose to be Win 7 pro.  I went up to the library to check it out and it was the same disk as the first one.  So I was really confused so I called the tech department and he said that I just had to use the Win 7 disk that I had gotten the week before and then just download LANDesk.  What a simple solution.  I can't believe no one had suggested it. So I got the one computer that had been wiped out upgraded to Win Pro and then downloaded LANDesk.   Tomorrow I will get the upgrade from home to Pro that I ordered and will do the same to the other machine.  I will have 2 computers working!  I am so excited.  Now comes the real work.

Sunday was an easy Sunday because 1st ward now has a president and some counselors who are very motivated.  I just had to play for Sacrament meeting and the 2 primaries.  I even got to go to Relief Society and got to play there.  We had the missionaries over for dinner and now I have to go to Kristie Parrish to get her started on her family history.
