Sunday we went over to Laura's for their office picnic. It was good to visit with the people that she and Willard work with. Laura is a good hostess and everyone had a good time.
Monday Laura's family came over to pick berries. They love Blackberries and the kids did a good sticking with the work. The corn was ripe for the picking so on Tuesday we ate from the garden. Here is a picture of our bounteous harvest.
Wednesday and Thursday I worked on the book for the Blessinger family reunion and also started a bonnet for a baby.
Thursday I gave Dad his anniversary gift of an Itouch. He was thrilled with it. I wanted to get a gift that he can use in many different ways. I gave it early so he could use it the next day at work. It has the scriptures, music and games to keep him entertained while we travel. Also, when we no longer can afford DTV he can still get his FOX NEWS. He just has to learn how to use it. He loves it because he can get his email and he doesn't have to get on the computer. Here is Willard chilling listening to tunes.
Saturday, Deborah came over with the kids and picked strawberries and took potatoes, corn, green peppers and rhubarb from the garden. It makes me feel like it is worth the pain of the garden when it cal bless the lives of my children.
I made two batches of frozen strawberry jam and a batch of Blackberry jam. Later on that night I finished the bonnet.
Today I finished my Blessinger project. So I feel that this week has been a pretty productive week. I even got a 1 on a call. Only 2 more to go. I just need to keep it together.
