What a week! There was the bitter and the sweet this week
The bitter was that I got a 0 on a QA and a red flag call because I forgot to tell them that their credit card would be retained. A very critical piece of information that I am required to tell but I spaced it out. That means that I am on a written and get another red flag within the next 6 month I am fired. I was devastated and very depressed on Thursday and still kick myself for making such a dumb mistake. But then I with Willard to the temple and it hit hard that if I feel this bad about making a mistake about something like work, how much worse would I feel if I didn't make it to the Celestial Kingdom because I hadn't repented because "No unclean thing can enter into God's kingdom". I am so thankful for the Savior's atonement and that we can repent and be forgiven and become clean. And thank goodness He is a little more patient with imperfections than DTV and knows my heart. I had Willard give me a blessing today just to help me cope and I feel better and also made my self some helps so I won't forget vital information again.

Now the sweet is that Sarah came to visit. It is great to see her and get to know Reynolds. He has grown into quite a little fellow. He speaks so well and expresses himself even better. He is a remarkable young man. Jane is just a precocious as ever. They ate with us on Wednesday and then Saturday she came over with Laura's kids. We are having BBQ and fireworks at Laura's house later one tonight. So I will report on that next week since I will be getting home to late to write on the blog.

I had to insert the picture of Minie sitting by my student Emily. I have never seen her do that: sit there as if she was involved in the piano lesson.

Since this is the 4th of July, I just wanted to remember all those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Our family on both sides have been evolved in preserving the freedom on this country. From the first pilgrims that set foot here on this promised land on seeking for religious freedom, to those who fought bravely in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, World Wars I and II, Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Iraq War. We owe them such a debt of gratitude for their service. Some lost their lives, some lost their way due to the difficulties of war but we have survived and are stronger for their service. If it wasn't for the tenacity of my father Merle I wouldn't be here and wouldn't have such a marvelous posterity.
