April 4, 2009

Well the Lord does keep His promises. I increased my temple attendance and my Save rate was 75.5% at the end of the month (3rd on my team) and my QA was 1 (That is goo). So I am not on a path to be terminated. I am so grateful for His help.

Since it was spring break for my piano students, I had a little extra time,to spend in the garden. On Tuesday, I went Visiting Teaching, got gas and shopped at Freddies, then went over to Jen Kaylor, to help her with Food Storage and then came home and visited with Eileen Kent, who was a good friend in Campbell CA. It was so good to catch up with her and her family. She like, all off us, have had her ups and downs. But what was interesting that her home teacher is Mike Baird, and Marilyn, his wife, always comes along. Marilyn did a cut down version of the Nutcracker Suite for Christmas that Betty had the opportunity to dance in. She was a snowflake. I helped her out with the production. The visit with Eileen brought back many happy memories. She was such a good friend to me. She had 4 children just about the same age as, Trenton, Betty, Deborah and Laura. After 2 hours it seemed like it was just yesterday. We haven't changed a bit.

Then on Wednesday after work I went the Edwards and got Lemon Verbena plants for Holly and I, a Rosemary an oregano plant plus some spinach, and a African Violet plant. Then the weather was so bad with snow and rain, it was too wet and cold to work out in the garden. But on Saturday, I got my Thornless Marion Berry plant, so Cody and I planted it. I was very pleased with it. It was very tall and healthy looking.

On Thursday Willard and I went to the temple. I ran into Dawn King,a temple worker, who was Joeys first grade teacher. She said she just remember Joey as being such a sweet boy and then Glen Farmer was at the front desk. He was a great man who I knew when I was growing up.

Then on Friday night Cody spent the night. It is so fun to see what things that attract the his attention. He loved playing with the guns on the Itouch and Face Goo. He made some candy for his family and listened to a little of conference.

Saturday, we watched Conference and then went to Keegan Lang ( grandson of Gene and Jones) 1st birthday party that was help at the BSU Sports complex. As you can see Cody is always the ham.

Conference was great! It reemphasized to me that it is only through our Lord Jesus Christ can we find peace, hope and joy and if we love one another we are truly His disciples. He gave us commandments to help us find that peace and joy.
