This week has had it's ups and downs. Monday my back felt better so I went and to Cruves and exercised lightly and then weeded the south flower bed. I didn't bend down so I thought it would be alright. It did stiffen up again so I just worked on " The Lord is My Shepherd" Brother Jensen, from the high council, come over Sunday night and asked me if I would play with Nancy and the Gillenwaters for the Stake Music Night on Sept 4. Of course, I agreed but I knew I needed to do some tweaking on it. I found the coolest app on the Kindle called Piano Companion. It has a cord dictionary and a reverse cord look up. So when I needed to figure out a cord now I just don't have to use my ear and brain, I just have to plug it in. It is awesome and came in handy when I was working on the song. On Tuesday, I exercised again and it felt better but I just worked on the song again because I was going over to Nancy's to practice on Wednesday.
Wednesday my back felt worse so I didn't do much. I went over an taught Hailey because Deborah car was being checked out for her trip. She did my toenails which I appreciated very much since it hurt my back just to bend over. We didn't practice long but I certainly enjoyed my time there. I really do love practicing with Nancy.
Thursday I began my prep for my Colonoscopy. Actually, the prep was a lot better than it had been years ago. I didn't have a hard time at all. 2 Dulcolax and half a gallon liquid that has a small bottle of Miralax, wasn't bad.
The Colonoscopy was ok. I woke up at the end and was very uncomfortable because my oxygen level because went I sleep I stop breathing. So they had to wake me up a bit to get me to breath deeper. Next time I am going to see if I can us my CPAP. He removed 2 polyps. I will know later this week if they were kind that I will have to come back in 3 years or 5 years. After that I was pretty well wiped out but lost 5 lbs. I wish I could keep it off.
Saturday, Steve and Inger took up out to Goodwoods. It was so great to visit with them and catch up on our missions and hear about Anika's up coming wedding. I am so happy for her.
My back it slowly getting better and once again I am so grateful for Holly's rice bags.
