4/22 to 4/28

What a week!

Monday, we took Laura to the Airport at 6:30 am so that she could catch a plane to Ft Lauderdale to do some buying for the gift shops.  I am very proud of her.  She has taken her talents and is turning around the aquariums gift shops that are in her network.  She is quite the business women.  I am so glad someone took the time to appreciate her and what she has to offer.  I know many will benefit from her talents.

Since Chuck was going to work late, we went over after lessons and I taught them how to make the cake in the cup.  They were a big hit. They each made two.  Then they all pitched and cleaned up the house.  I hope it was clean when she got home.

On Tuesday, I finally went in to have my blood test done for H Pylori.  But of course, I will have to call on Monday to get the results. That afternoon, Willard and I went to lunch at Bono's located at Chinden and Linder in the Fred Meyers shopping center.

It is where my friend Kathy and her family is working at helping make it a success.  The owner is from Chicago and so is Kathy.  She was Kathy's manager at Macy's so she asked her and her husband to help her.   Kathy does the books and makes the meatball and her husband makes the Italian Beef and sauces. Her son, grand daughter and nephew work there. (There may be more that I missed)  They also have Frozen Custard that is to die for. The food is great and reasonable priced and they are really busy since they are about the only restaurant in the area.

Wednesday morning I went over to Suzie's to help her with her genealogy.  I just worked on cleaning up her files.  Actually we submitted 7 males and 6 females to the temple to have their work done.

Susie is such a sweet woman and this 91st year has been hard on her.  She just isn't enjoying the best of health right now.

Thursday was Willard and Trenton's surgeries.  Willard had a hard time waking up.  I guess he is on the sensitive side.  All things went well, but I think he wasn't prepared for how long it is going to take to have the pain go away.  Trenton is healing too.  Both don't do to well with pain but on the other had who does?  The only enjoyable pain, are labor pains because you get something out of it.

Friday I worked all morning, planting and weeding. I spent the rest of the day just recuperating from all my efforts.  Then just as I got in the house exhausted,  my strawberries and raspberry plants arrived.  I guess I will put them in on Monday.

Saturday, I spent the morning putting together a time line for my urology appointment. On Tuesday, I picked up the report from Dr. Ludder's office which was very helpful.  I hope it will help her in figuring out what is going on in my body.

Then the most fun part of the day came.  Rosemary Hill asked me to go to the "Beauty and the Beast" production. We went to the afternoon showing.  It was absolutely wonderful.  The sets were magnificent and well at the actors.  Gaston was brilliant and had the physic to match.  He was a human cartoon character.  Before the play we saw children dressed up as Bell.  The girl on the left aunt made the costume the day before and there was 32 yard of fabric used, she said.
Two little Bells.

The Rosemary and I saw a pink musical scarf.  It was so pretty we both decided to buy one. Then we went out to the Cheese Factory and had some wonderful crab cakes.  That was my first time there and I loved them both.  It was so much fun to be there with the children and watch them enjoy the magic of the show.

On Sunday, we had Hailey over to celebrated her birthday and I  took the opportunity to give her the low down on Activity Day.  She made a Baptismal  Bear, a cake and built with Lego's.
