Hard Rock Hotel in Dominican Republic |
Also, Jacob called and said that he got a raise and was going to come on Sunday and stay for Thanksgiving.
On Tuesday, I thought I was just going to see Dr. Hodson, my Chemo Dr. and I was surprised that when I got there I was informed that I was going to have my last Chemo that day. which was a nice surprise. I had a good visit with a volunteer and learned a lot about of what I needed to do to prepare for my surgery.
That night it occurred to me that since I had Chemo early, I might be able to move up my surgery one week because on the 11th I would be 4 weeks out from Chemo. I called Dr Cushman's office and they said I could have it done on the 11th. I was excited because I would be in better shape for Christmas. Now I just have to get everything done one week earlier.
Wednesday I went to the Senior Sisters luncheon and meet a sister who also had gone through breast cancer and had the opportunity to have more questions answered. The Lord certainly blessed me with people that have been able to give me a lot of information about dealing with breast cancer. It is from all the conversations that I have decided to have a Bilateral Mastectomy. It seems to be the wisest thing to do.
That night Diane took me to a Care for you class but I got the date wrong and so we had a good time shopping . Sad thing was that she decided to go out for dinner after she dropped me off and was rear ended by a drunk driver and messed up the back end of her new Peras.
The rest of the week was spend laying around due to my limbs just aching if I moved but the good news it is the last time!
