Well just to cover that last two weeks. I forgot to mentioned that Jim called on the 21th saying that he was having trouble breathing and his heart wasn't beating right. He went into the hospital and they first thought he was having a heart attack, then maybe a blot clot, but when everything was over, he was just having a bad asthma attack. So then he went and meet our new Dr Maderious. He really liked him. This week he was having problems again. During our weekly practice he had to stop because he was so weak. He called the Dr, and he put him on insulin. That made him feel better and so he was able to play off the songs for our performance at Heatherwood Retirement Center on Saterday.
Willard was so great that they actually clapped for him. He wasn't feeling well because he caught the same stuff Deborah was sick with. Thank goodness he is feeling better.
September, 29, I fixed dinner for Betty and took it over to her because Andy has been so busy with his job. I fixed a great marinara sauce from our tomatoes and the Squash Lasagna. Served with Tossed salad and home made bread sticks. Then had cream puffs for dessert. We also went to Garren's cross county race. It was hot that day so very hard to run in.
The 30th I went to see Dr Maderious. He seemed to be nice. They did the finger stick protime test which I really like. He took some blood for a full blood test and I had to reduce my warferin because it was up to 3. I go back at the end of the month to get the results and test again. But I won't be surprised if my protime is way out of wack because I on the 28th started this new diet and exercise program. So far I really like it and it is something that I can do and be successful at. Basically, I only eat from 12 to 6. Fasting for 16 hours. I find it very easy to do. I drink a lot of water in the morning which it good because I have a hard time remembering to drink. The Sunday I was 175.8 and this morning I was 174.6 . I also exercised 5 days this week with a break on Wednesday and Sunday. I do a series of pullups (using the Closet bar to pull me up) the squats, wall pushups, and Chair situps. It sounds wimpy I know but I can do it and it is tightening my tummy. I am determined to have lost at least 5 lbs by the time I go see the Dr. on the 24th. So I really have to watch my carbs. This week.
On the weekend, we went to see Hailey's soccer game. She is really a go getter. The kids were all melting. It was 93 degrees outside and it was late in the afternoon and the kids were beat. But Hailey went on and even scored a goal! It was fun to watch. Here she is the goalie. She is a real go getter/
On the 4th I went to the Relief Society auction. I took 4 loaves of Whole Wheat Bread, a dozen cinnamon Rolls, 8 jars of various jams and a Crocheted Temple Envelope. Starla Jeppson got the Temple envelope and is going to save it to give to her daughter. Also, took a Rhubarb Berry Cobbler.
On Wednesday, when we were practicing over at Nancy's, she told me that she was asked to play a harp solo for the October 20, stake Relief Society. We came up with “Love One Another '. I wrote and accompaniment to with the hymn. It turned out nicely. Oh I do have to mention that when I was leaving for Nancy's I backed into our neighbors mailbox. We got the box fixed but will get the signal light fixed this week. I am so made at myself.

On Friday before our appointment with Bob Hurst to do some financial planning. I exercised, and made two batches of jam. Then of course we did our performance Saturday afternoon.
There are some advantages having the park in our back yard. It was a real treat to see the balloon.
