November 28, 2010

This was a quite week. I only worked one full day because I took greentime. It is nice to know that you can get a break. I am hoping that we will have it this week because I really need it so I can get some shopping done and get all the cleaning done.

Since we weren't going anyplace for Thanksgiving I fixed the turkey on Wednesday night and then we just eat off of the dinner until today. It was a very quite Thanksgiving but I have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has truly blessed us this year. We have weathered the storms and but our faith in the Lord has kept us anchored.

I made some hats for Brittney. Here is the blue one. She love blue and it was really soft. I also made some for myself because Dad thought it would be a good idea to wear one on the trip so I don't have to be padded down. I hate going through security because of the C-pap machine.

On Saturday, we went to see my brother Jim and Debbie be sealed in the temple. It was great to see them finally accomplish that goal. Jim had a hard time he is quite weak from his illness. We took them out to the Golden Corral and he couldn't stay very long because he wasn't feeling well.

All the rest of the day, I spent in putting up all the Christmas decorations, because Tobin and the kids will be staying here for the weekend and I wanted to help them get into the Christmas mood.

Sunday's are always full. I got up at 5AM because I had an idea of how to use the Bells I got from Hobby Lobby (only 14.99 and great quality of sound) in the Christmas song "Christmas Bells are Ringing" because I was substituting for the chorister. They worked out great and the kids really enjoyed using them. It really added to the song. Afterwords Cody and Hailey came over for awhile while Deborah went to the hospital. Thank goodness for the Itouchs. They really enjoy playing with them

Well only 5 more days and we will be off to our next adventure.
