October 4, 2010

This was a good week. I was down in OJT where I was helping the new agents on their first days of taking calls and then I got my shift bid that I so desperately wanted which was the same as I have right now. I am so thankful for that.

We went over to the Willet's house on Friday night and saw all their pictures of their trip to South Africa. They go one a exotic trip each year and invite neighbors over to enjoy their trip by osmosis. The men enjoyed especially all the girls that were participating in a celebration for the King in Zimbabwe. They were all trying to impress him with their dancing and their bodies which were covered mostly with a skirt. After a while all the boob's were a little boring.

On our way to Betty's we stopped over at RC Willies to look at TV's and found a good deal. Then we went over to Betty's to give her birthday gift and saw the system that Andy is setting up to be able to watch TV without having Cable or DTV. We are preparing for the day I don't work for DTV. We really appreciate Andy's advice.

After Betty's we came home and discussed the purchase and went to buy the LG 47" HD tv and got a second TV for $99 plus a really good Blue Ray which is on back order. We had to go get it today because it was in Idaho Falls.

Then Tobin came over with his nursing assistant Twan. Tobin is now officially out of the service. I guess they are having a special farewell for him in December. I just hope that we are here not at Joe's

On October 2 number 24th grandchild arrived. Baby Alice arrived in at 6:27 in the morning. She weighted 9lbs and was 21 inches long! I guess her blood sugar was low at the first but she straighten out. Sarah said that she has a lot of blond hair. Sarah had a very short labor 2 hours and went all natural with no drugs. I knew she wouldn't have a long labor because her body had done all the work before she went into labor. I can hardly wait to see her and all the rest on Saturday! She has the distinction of having the only October birthday. We now have a birthday in every month.

We enjoyed watching conference on Sunday. I really enjoy all the talks and was struck that the leaders are very direct and don't mince words on what is acceptable before the Lord. I am so grateful for their inspiration.

After conference, Jim and Debbie and Don and Ellen and Velma came over for Dinner. It was good to talk to them all and we had a good time catching up.I felt pretty good I figured out how to use the timer on the camera. I thought it was a good picture with no hands. It was so late I didn't get the blog done. So now I am all caught up.
