July 18, 2010

This has been rather a full week. On Monday, we went to the Andrew's for our last dinner group. It has been fun to go to dinner and get to know each of the couples better. The Andrew's have such a lovely home and I loved their backyard. They had 3 lava rock waterfalls in their back yard. They had found a creek bed that was full of lava rock and got it all for free.

The Tuesday was Brittney's 17 birthday. We went over to wish her a happy birthday and she had some friends over and they helped her celebrate her birthday.

Then Hailey proceeded to model for me. That is her dream right now is to model. What a little performer!

On Wednesday, we met Kathy , a gal that was on my team, and her husband at Soup 'n Salad for dinner. She is a wonderful gal and a good friend. It is fun talking about the state of the country because we have the same view point. I have got to remember my camera the next time we have dinner.

On Thursday I went to the temple, and had an idea about how to crochet blessing dresses for the twin girls. Yes, Joe is having girls, which is exciting. So I have to work on a pattern that would be adjustable for little girls.

On Friday Tobin and family arrived and we got to visit with them for a bit and then Tobin went to the Motel to get some sleep and Linda and boys help us pick raspberries and strawberries. I really did appreciate their work,.

Then on Saturday we went shopping for piano's. I went along to help Linda know what to ask. We went to Dunkley's and Welch's. They each had great digital piano's. I was very impressed with Valen because he liked the Roland better because is was more of an educational piano, than a fun piano.

Then I spent most of the afternoon and evening changing my blog to the other format. Sarah taught me how to do it. I tried the blog and now it came out like I was expecting it to. I am excited about that.

Today I played a piano sole, " Let the Holy Spirit Guide at Sacrament meeting and ad Meadowlake Retirement Village. (Our Ward has a small branch for those elderly that can't get to Sacrament at the ward house). It went well and I got a lot of compliments. The family came over for a family BBQ. There were 24 for us. Tobin, Trenton, Deborah, and Laura's family were here. We all had a great time.

We then had a contest who come make the funniest picture.

How it all got started.
