May 9, 2010

This has been fairly good week. I ended the month with a 72.9%. It didn't "meet" but as long as it is above 71% they are putting people on a path. Which is good because no one on our team ended up with a 75.5% but they walked a lot of people out last week.

Not much going on until this weekend but I needed that just to catch up. I started a new piano student. She is the daughter of my TSS at work, which the person who helps us and takes to supervisor calls. Doug is his name and he is from England and very nice and smart. He is working on his doctorate. Anyway, his daughter Tattie, who is 17 and very quite decided to start piano. She is going to college in the fall and needed some challenges in her life. She is a highly motivated student.

I went to the Temple on Wednesday because it was rainy and Thursday was going to be nice. I wanted to get as much as I could so we could get what we wanted to on Saturday.

So on Thursday worked on the garden. It is still freezing at night so I don't dare put out the Tomato plants. I got the corner with the Strawberries all in and with bark. It looks really good.

On Friday, I was going with Rosemary Hill with her grand daughter and Maddy to "Hello Dolly" but Rosemary called and said she and her grand daughter were sick and that I could have all five tickets. So I tried getting a hold of some one in our family but every one was busy, then I thought of Beca Dunkley's daughter Phoebe who is almost 10. When talking to Beca, she mentioned that Greg and her were going out so I offered her the other two tickets. So I took the girls out to Whitewater Pizza and then on to the show. Beca and Greg joined us there and Phoebe got to sit by her great-grandfather. It was a family night for all Dunkely's , they were all there. William Dunkely, who was the founder of Dunkely's Music, was uncle Franklin's Holsinger Music competition but they were great friends.

It was so much fun to watch the girl's enjoy the show. They couldn't take their eyes off the stage. They laughed at all the corny jokes. It was the perfect show to take them too. It was very well done and just a delight to watch.

Maddy spent the night and then we went shopping for things for the garden. Every one came over an helped with the weeding and working on the fence. We got all the planks down on the flower bed on the south fence. Now just have to work on getting it ready for planting. I certainly appreciate everyone's help. It was a lovely day with visits from every one.

Then we went to Adam wedding reception to see his new bride and see the niece and nephews. Talked with Ben, and he is going to a trade school, Jared is working at Fred Meyers and John is unemployed. They are all living with Paul. Andrew has been working as a janitor at BSU for 7 years, and Christ was on TV new because he is using high tech communication tech to get fairs for his taxi. I didn't get a chance to talk with Eldon and Bell is very pregnant, but she didn't introduce me to her current boy friend. But Adam was happy and his wife was very sweet but really tired. Then we headed over to Curtis Hale wedding reception.

Today have a been a very pleasant day, talking with the other kids and preparing for my Visiting teaching. I downloaded the conference music and made CD for each of the sisters. It is such fine music and all free. How blessed we are!

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful children and grand children. Each are unique and special and all have such great talents. It is fun to see how they are all developing their talents and blessing others.
