On Sunday we all went to the blessing. Ben's Sacrament meeting started at 9.00 and amazingly we all got there on time. Ben gave a very special blessing to Amelia. She is such a sweet baby. So calm and is so fun to hold and cuddle with. Her dress fit perfectly. Behind her is the blanket that I crocheted for her.
Here is all the Hill Clan at the brunch that Holly and Ben provided after church. It was beautifully done. There was all the fruit that we could eat and then Bowman's cinnamon rolls which are so good.
Ben, Holly, Audrey and Amelia. They are such a beautiful family. Holly is holding Amelia in the blanket that her mother made. It was so beautiful. Her mother quilt so beautifully.
Sarah, Andrew, Jane, Reynold and little Alice are on there way back to Denver. This will probably be last time we see them this year. We sure had fun with the kids.
The next day on the way home we stopped to see my good friend Helen. She is now 96 and has settled in at the retirement center except she still feels that they are all old fuddy duddies!
Then we also stopped to talk to my good friend Bonnie Shelton. She is finally retiring from teaching piano and voice. It was good to visit and catch up and get to talked to her more since her son's Marcus's death.
Tuesday night Hailey and Cody spent the night because Buck had to turn around and drive back to Salt Lake for work and Deborah had to be at work at 6:00. Cody elected to sleep in the recliner and Hailey in the bed. I didn't even hear them. Willard got then off to school with no problems. It really helps that their school is just a few houses away.
I was sick with the stomach flue on Thursday and Friday and stayed home from work. I was feeling better on Friday and went with Deborah to the school picnic that was held at the school for their last day of school. Cody is going on to the 3rd grade and Hailey on the the first grade. They both did well on their grades.
On Saturday afternoon, we took Maddy, Davis, and Joe to the skate park. They had a good time skating and there wasn't even a scraped knee. Maddy is sporting a new look, she is growing up so fast. Davis amazes me that he can ride a razor board and Joe really good on the skate board for some one his age.
I had to add the picture of my flowers and strawberries on the north side of the fence. This is the pretties it has ever been. I think because of the cool weather. I sure am enjoying it however I would like to get some strawberries. I can hardly wait for warmer weather.
